Terms of Service

Effective October 4, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and EquiHalo Equestrian LLC, a Texas limited liability company that operates RideAlign ("RideAlign," "we," "us"). By creating an account, starting a trial, or using ridealign.app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What RideAlign is, and what it isn't

RideAlign analyzes phone video to estimate horse gait measures, like head-nod and hip-hike symmetry, stride length, and rhythm, and rider position measures, like alignment and stability. It also suggests exercises.

RideAlign is a screening and self-coaching aid. It does not provide veterinary, medical, or professional riding advice. It doesn't diagnose lameness, injury, or any condition, and it doesn't replace an exam by a licensed veterinarian or lessons with a qualified coach. Stop and call your vet if your horse shows pain, heat, swelling, or a limp. You decide how to care for, train, and ride your horse, and you're responsible for those decisions.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18, or use RideAlign with a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms. Give us accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for activity on your account.

3. Subscriptions, trials, and promo codes

  • Free trial. New subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your payment method is charged automatically.
  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew each billing period at the price you agreed to, until you cancel. You can cancel any time in the billing portal on the Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Promo codes. Promotional codes, such as INTRO2026 ($4.00 off the Rider plan each month for your first six monthly billing periods after the trial, so $5.99/month, then $9.99/month), apply to new subscriptions only. They can't be exchanged for cash, can't be combined unless we say so, and may be withdrawn for misuse. When the promotional period ends, regular pricing applies.
  • Price changes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to your subscription.
  • Refunds. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods. If something went wrong, contact us and we'll try to make it right.
  • Taxes. Prices don't include applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout.

4. Plan limits

Each plan includes a set number of riders, horses, and cloud clip storage, as shown on the Pricing page. You can add more through add-ons in the billing portal. The app won't let you go over your plan's limits. Don't share one account across separate barns or businesses to get around them.

5. Your content

You own the videos, names, notes, and other content you add ("Your Content"). You give us a limited license to host, process, analyze, and display Your Content only to run RideAlign for you. That includes analyzing clips on your device, syncing your data, and storing clips you choose to save. We won't use Your Content in marketing without your permission, and we won't use your videos to train AI models.

You confirm that you have the right to film and upload Your Content, including permission from any person who can be identified in your clips. For minors, that means a parent or guardian's permission. Your Content must not break the law or anyone's rights.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse RideAlign. That includes trying to get into other accounts or clips, getting around the paywall or plan limits, reverse engineering the service except where the law allows it, overloading our systems, uploading malware or illegal content, or reselling the service without our written permission.

7. Our property

RideAlign, including the app, its algorithms, scoring, exercise content, designs, and the RideAlign name and logo, belongs to EquiHalo Equestrian LLC and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app under these Terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

8. Availability and changes

We're always improving RideAlign, and features may change. We aim to keep the app available, but it may sometimes be interrupted, and results depend on video quality, lighting, markers, and camera angle. Keep your own copies of any clips that matter to you.

9. Disclaimers

RideAlign is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't promise that scores or suggestions will be accurate, complete, or right for your horse or for you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, RideAlign and EquiHalo Equestrian LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. That includes injury to people or animals, veterinary costs, lost data, or lost profits arising from your use of RideAlign. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Horseback riding and working around horses carry inherent risks. You accept those risks, including the inherent risks of equine activities described in Chapter 87 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify RideAlign against claims that come from Your Content, your misuse of the service, or your breaking these Terms.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using RideAlign and cancel at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Sections 5 through 13 continue to apply after your account ends.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts in Montgomery County, Texas, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and let account holders know. If you keep using RideAlign after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

Horse gait module: a screening aid, not a diagnosis — use the recommended exercises to build strength gradually, and rest your horse if it shows pain or a limp. Rider position module: a self-coaching aid, not a substitute for in-person instruction from a qualified riding coach or trainer.
