Accessibility Statement

Last updated October 4, 2026

EquiHalo Equestrian LLC wants every rider, owner, and trainer to be able to use RideAlign, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is the standard most often used to measure website accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What we've done

  • Text and controls meet WCAG AA color contrast (at least 4.5:1 for normal text).
  • Every page has a "Skip to content" link, clear headings, and labeled navigation. The current page is announced to screen readers.
  • You can use the menus, forms, and dialogs with a keyboard. Escape closes dialogs, focus stays inside an open dialog, and keyboard focus is always visible.
  • Every form field has a visible label. Errors, such as a wrong password or a full plan, are announced to screen readers.
  • Images and diagrams have text alternatives. Marker colors are always named in text, never shown by color alone.
  • Pages work when zoomed to 200%, on small screens, and in portrait or landscape. If your device asks for reduced motion, we cut back animation.
  • We check pages with automated accessibility tools (axe-core) and by testing with a keyboard.

Known limitations

Marking points on video. To mark the horse's or rider's tracking points, you tap or click on a video frame (Mark & Track). This step depends on seeing the video and pointing at a spot, so right now it doesn't work fully with a keyboard alone or with a screen reader. Your results, history, exercises, and account pages are fully accessible. If this step is a barrier for you, email us. We'll help you get your analysis done, and we're working on an accessible alternative.

Video. RideAlign's sample clips have no spoken content, and the text around each clip describes what it shows.

Third-party pages. Checkout and the billing portal are hosted by Stripe, which has its own accessibility program.

Horse gait module: a screening aid, not a diagnosis — use the recommended exercises to build strength gradually, and rest your horse if it shows pain or a limp. Rider position module: a self-coaching aid, not a substitute for in-person instruction from a qualified riding coach or trainer.
